Circle Y’s Flex-Lite Technology Evolves Again with the Precision Flex²™Circle Y first introduced their Flex-Lite tree in 1998. Its flexible design offered the best support and comfort for horse and rider and left saddle competitors scrambling to make their own flexible trees. As the industry makes room for other flexible designs, Circle Y has decided to take their Flex-Lite tree to the next level and, beginning today,Circle Y is incorporating a revolutionary new flexible tree called Precision Flex²™ into all their Flex-Lite saddles. Here is a breakdown of what this new technology entails:
Tree (Brown): Precision Flex²™ trees have been covered with DURAhide™. This coating will ensure that the tree stays untouched by moisture and the elements. DURAhide™ is much more dependable than traditionally rawhide or fiberglass-covered trees and actually adds strength to the saddle.
Seat (Blue): Circle Y is one of the most consistent companies when it comes to a comfortable seat, and the new Flex-Lite design is no exception. The ground seat is built right into the tree and is representative of Circle Y’s experience and modern technology.
Flex Bars: High Density (Pink): This is a small section that sits under the seat to give support and stability to the saddle and evenly distribute the weight to the bars.
Dynamic Low Density (Yellow): The new Flex bars promise to conform to your horse perfectly, even while in motion, allowing freedom of movement and enhancing the horse’s natural gait. The flexible bars allow the saddle to fit a broader range of horses than traditional saddles.
Skirt: Forget the traditional laced skirts which cause friction and trouble for your horse. Circle Y’s new Tunnel skirt design creates the smoothest surface possible for your horse’s back, decreasing the opportunity for rubbing and sore spots and eliminating pressure along the spine. It also encourages air flow under the saddle, keeping the heat off your horse and encouraging a cool and comfortable sensation. The Neo-shock™ skirt design has a neoprene filler which absorbs shock and flexibly conforms to your horse’s back.
Seat Jockeys: Circle Y maintains their wonderful Softee™ seat jockeys and fenders, which promise to eliminate the break-in period for your saddle and provide a “ready to ride” feel. The jockeys reduce knee and ankle strain.
