The McRae's Special Effx2 Saddle is built on our Carbon Fiber Saddle Tree that provides light weight and strength! The same great qualities and fit as the original Marlene's Special Effx Saddles, the new Special Effx2 is for the serious competitor who wants to maximize their horse's performance.
Hi-tech constructed of Carbon Fiber for exceptional strength, while decreasing overall saddle weight to approx. 15 pounds. Exceptional fit to each of your horses, lightweight and beautifully handmade by Cactus Saddlery in Greenville, Texas. This saddle is perfectly balanced to fit you and your horse for maximum performance.
Over five years of research and development went into the design and production of this very high tech, carbon fiber saddle tree. It was pull tested to over 3200 pounds of force, proving it to be extremely strong, and then Marlene personally tested it for over six months before we introduced it.
One of the many great aspects to the Carbon fiber, Special Effx2 saddle is that it can be returned to Cactus Saddlery in the future and a new saddle can be built using the existing tree. This saves the saddle owner a considerable amount of money since the saddle tree is already theirs!
Please keep in mind that Carbon Fiber is extremely light and strong, but the clear coating of the composite material can be damaged through misuse and lack of care. Always protect the outer coating from damage by keeping your Special Effx2 saddle in a safe place and not in contact with any sharp or hard surfaces.
